Modifying, Cancelling, or Inquiring About an Order

At BLADE Outboards, we understand that changes may be necessary after placing an order. Below is a guide on how to modify, cancel, or inquire about an existing order through the Retailer Portal.


1. Modifying an Order

Changes can only be made within 48 hours of order placement, as part of our grace period for clerical errors. After this window, modifications cannot be guaranteed.

How to Request a Modification:

All modifications must be requested via support ticket or by emailing retailers@bladeoutboards.com.

✔️ Important Notes:

  • Price adjustments (including bulk discounts) will be updated and reflected in the final invoice.
  • Shipping address modifications may be subject to additional fees if drop shipping.
  • Some changes (e.g., product swaps) may require order cancellation and reordering.

2. Cancelling an Order

Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours of placement. After this window, orders are locked for processing and cannot be canceled.

How to Cancel an Order:

To cancel an order, please submit a ticket or email retailers@bladeoutboards.com with your order details.

✔️ Exceptions:

  • If the order has already shipped, cancellation is not possible.
  • If cancellation is requested after 48 hours, it will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

3. Inquiring About an Order

If you need an update on an order’s status, expected shipping date, or invoice details, you can:

  1. Check your Order History – Live updates, status changes, and estimated delivery dates (if available) are displayed in the portal.

4. Drop Shipping & Custom Notes

  • Drop shipping addresses can be added during the order process (fees apply).
  • If modifications to a drop shipment order are needed, they must be made within 48 hours.
  • Custom notes (e.g., order instructions) can be included during order placement but cannot be modified afterward.
